He did the right thing on their goal. If Sandro didn’t mark their striker in the centre it would’ve been a 3vs2 situation. Rabiot probably had to track back en mark Conti. Either way it doesn’t matter, that he started yesterday probably means that he’ll be on the bench Sunday.

Tbh he had a good game defensively against Dumfries who was causing many problems with his runs. I’ve been for starting Pellegrini over Sandro for months now, I think that flaws like these should make everyone realize that it’s about time that Sandro will bench more often
