I think It has more to do with the salary cap. Since you know the EPL pretty well, hasn't Adama Traore regressed substantially since his break out season two years ago?
Digne to Aston Villa official 30mln euro.
Some striker called Wood (30yo) was bought by Newcastle from Burnley for 30 mln.
Azmoun is close to Lyon for 5mln.
I'm reading Lucas fucking Digne is joining Aston Villa for 30mln Euro...
Those guys could easily afford our trash like Sandro, Rabiot etc for a discounted price.
Not sure why some of you guys are surprised by this transfer. Coutinho ever since leaving Liverpool has been a shadow of his former self.
Genoa and Atalanta also have billionaire owners ;). Well, Genoa used to have as Preziosi sold the club recently.
Do you guys think Tottenham will buy Vlahovic eventually? Apparently they're offering 60mln while Commisso wanted to include a 70mln buy-out clause in his new contract meaning the difference is really small.
Kane was left out of the squad for the game against City.
The only obstacle might be...
Why did broadcasting decrease by half in 2020 and matchday only 20%? I would expect that to be the opposite.
UPDATE
How Roma can afford 40m for Abraham?

It will be interesting to see how he does in EPL. I think playing in defense there is totally different compared to Serie A. He will find forwards running at him with pace there which rarely happens in Italy as teams are much more conservative. Another thing is that he always played in 3 men...
Even though I find White's transfer fee ridiculous, I do believe that outsiders to Serie A could have a similar feeling about paying 70mln for Chiesa a year ago or current evaluation of Romero at 60mln.
On the other hand there are plenty of world class players who played at the highest level late in their thirties like Xavi, Iniesta, Modric, Ronaldo, Buffon, Chiellini, Scholes, Giggs, Maldini, Zanetti etc.
