1.5 for a guy his size is what, a wine bottle all by himself? Thats not exactly normal to drive like that

Good deal, he's a decent backup and thats a salary of a decent backup. 1708930835 Rugani is way more useful than MDS though, that was a horrible extension. Even not taking into account the injury record, MDS has 0 use in a formation with wingbacks instead of fullbacks.

Is it just me or is Rugani getting handsome as he ages?

Current contract is valid until 2024. I highly doubt its 1m net, he'll get paid more in this one year than he'd get for 3 years with that salary, no way he agrees to that :D But anything over 2m imo is overpaying him, yeah.

taking into account gross wages, he's the 6th best paid CB in the league. he's good enough to be a backup at Juve, but we're definitely not lucky to pay him that salary to be our 4th/5th CB.

Just keep him and focus on more important positions than backup CBs ffs

My point was why would Rugani sign for less money over a longer period of time? :D Youd have to put a gun to his head or smth 1651089093 That was strange too

So basically instead of 2 years on 3.5m Rugani should sign a 3 year contract on 2m? Cherubini did well with Perin, but he's not that good :D

3.5m for a 5th choice is still way way too much though, imo max 2m for such a role. there are plenty of much better CBs playing in Serie A who earn less than 2m.

If I'm UEFA not a Juve fan, I'm eliminating Juve and continuing CL. Maybe giving Juve a bit of money

So season over for Juve, huh? Lyon definitely wont play us even if its behind closed doors in Africa. And this for sure is the nail in the coffin for Serie A, maybe we get a couple playoff games in May.

True. I guess I feel the defense is just as shaky with Rugani in the center as it would be with a fullback or a midfielder playing CB

Isnt it a bit risky to have 3 remaining CBs + Chiellini?

No idea what is he still doing in Juve, he clearly doesnt believe in himself
