Why every player we have becomes inconsistent after their early great spell at our club?

How come this sry player starts ahead of Spinazzola and Cancelo is mind boggling. Padion was twice the player this guy is. And to think that this guy was Allegri's request to buy shows how much our coach likes mediocrity.

Great game from him. He kept Martial and Pogba all the game in his pocket.

I was critical of his non existence offensive output in recent games, but thankfully he is making those runs with more confidence he gains.
