It's a very flexible formation. Can easily become a 4-3-3 with Padoin-Marchi-Pirlo in MF and Vucinic-Matri-Giacch up top.

There's no doubt that Pepe fits in well in the 4-3-3. But we have no one else who does what he does in that role. This is something Marotta should've addressed in January.
