It was the only option left. They should have fired him sooner. Perhaps they could have backed him up a bit firmer a few weeks ago though, because now it was obvious that at some point he would get fired and this really hurted the team.

Come on, he did well last year. We just went up from Serie B and our objective was a CL spot. He got us that spot and more importantly he beat Inter in San Siro! It could have been a massacre that day.

I agree. But if he was a brilliant manager he might have done better with the players he had now. Furthermore his relationship with certain key players had been deteriorating for a while now and the sacking became inevitable. I've always found that "esonero" sounds so harsh though :D.

The problem is that he did well. At Juventus you need to do better than that.

His first season was alright and he has shown nothing but respect to Juventus. I thank him for that.
