I don't like Murray's tactics. He is too negative. This is okay against poor players, because they will make plenty unforced errors, so just waiting for them to make a mistake is an okay option. When playing against top players, though, he needs to up his game and actually beat them; not wait...

He didn't even have to be at his best to win today. There are certainly great players about. I just wish that more of them would go to the net more often to mix things up, rather than endless baseline power hitting.

Anyone been watching the Australian Open? Pretty dominant display from Murray tonight to get through to the QF. His gameplan was spot on to take on a guy who is 6ft 9 and has little other than a big serve. He'll probably play Nadal in the quarters.
