:lol2: The Irish are going to get me! God knows what you guys are like when you meet opposition fans around games if you are getting upset about what I'm saying. :weee:

It doesn't have to be violent. People complain about being criticised by people in the real world for who they support. Why would you give a fuck what fans of other teams think? Man, if people round here had to spend one day in a Scottish school and the stuff that goes on between...

:D The flashy, but mediocre left back, and his unbelievably slow Italian back up? We've signed four international players already this summer.

Sure, I don't buy into the idea of national loyalty when it comes to club football, but people need to accept that a great many people aren't going to agree with who you support, so just need to man up and get on with it.

I would abuse you if you were from Aberdeen and didn't support Aberdeen. Why shouldn't people who support their local team look down their nose at you?

That means you can only be a fan if your clubs is in dire financial straits? My club is better run than that and various members of my family are shareholders. Are we not proper fans because our club isn't completely broke?

I can see why folk would develop some sort of attachment, but I still can't understand how people can grow to feel as strongly as they do. Flu or fever or something like that.

What? I don't see how you can develop a real attachment to a team without being reasonably close to them and going to watch then fairly regularly, but that's just me.

Meh. My standards for what counts as supporting a team are probably higher than most. And Juve are only my third team. :P I care more about Keith, the semi-pro team that play in the town my grandparents stay and where my dad grew up, than I do about Juve.

Don't get me wrong; I like Juve, but they pale into insignificance compared to my feelings for Aberdeen.
