I'm not saying he is a good player or that he would be an acceptable signing.

Hard working and tactically aware. He certainly isn't a wide player who is going to beat his man and deliver a brilliant cross, though.

While Taddei isn't nearly as bad as many of you have suggested (especially Douchan), I can't really see the sense in the signing. If he was to be brought in as cheap back-up on a two year deal and Salihamidzic was leaving, I wouldn't complain, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
