If you would provide a proper definition of 'Juventus material', there would be no problem with you using said term.

It's too early to get overly concerned about referees, as not enough has happened yet. Juve are all square right now; one favourable call (Lazio's goal disallowed) and one bad call (Iaquinta's goal last night).

Buffon - Solid Grygera - Solid in defence, his usual self in attack Legrottaglie - Some daft fouls, lost Crespo for the goal Chiellini - Okay-ish Grosso - Poor Melo - Solid Poulsen - Good first half, bad second Marchisio - Awesome Camoranesi - Tried hard, but to little effect...

I know. And your last sentence is what I'm saying; once the players are accustomed to the system, they will cover the spaces much better.

That is inevitably going to be the case until the players really get used to the formation. They better learn fast, though, or it could get messy against Robben and Ribery.

Yeah, he just isn't imposing himself on games the way he can. Much too passive.

You're forgetting Grygera's other goal; the last minute equaliser against Inter.

Chiellini can just grap him by his stupid rat tail hair style.

They have better depth this season, but their best XI isn't as good as it was a year ago.

Sweet. Apart from Grygera instead of Zebina, that is the team is posted two days ago.

Why would you play De Ceglie at right back when we have at least two right backs fit? And Cannavaro is crocked and Diego is probably not fit to start.

The new position excuse doesn't really work, given that he is getting to play in what he believes is his natural position.

His passing was fine. However, in a midfield with Marchisio and Camoranesi, his primary responsibility is defensive and I thought he was poor in that regard.

Which is the key to getting results in tough games. Quiet is being kind. He barely put in a tackle in the first half and only improved slightly in the second. This is coming from someone who has probably defended Poulsen more than anyone else round here.

I stand by my selection, then. Start with muscle in midfield and Camoranesi as trequartista. Giovinco can be brought on once the game becomes more stretched, if we need him.
