    [Serie A] Lazio 0-2 JUVENTUS, Sep 12th 2009- 3rd Round

I'm scared and confused. I've never agreed with you this much about a game before. :D I think Lazio need to get a lot of credit for us not looking as dangerous as against Roma. They were well organised and allowed very little space in midfield compared to Roma.

I didn't think the defence was a mess. I thought the shape was pretty good and they did very well to restrict Lazio's chances, considering how often our midfield gave away possession and left them under pressure.

That would explain it. You'll never catch me criticising a defender for booting out of play. You presumably were happy to see Legro trying that ridiculous back-heel and giving the ball away when just clearing the ball was a far better option?

It is beyond me how you could consider anyone other than Chiellini to have been Juve's best defender today.

Overall, the team was pretty poor, but what cannot be faulted is the work rate, organisation and fitness of the players (credit for which goes primarily to Ferrara). Buffon, Chiellini, Melo, Marchisio and Giovinco get pass marks. I won't be overly critical of Caceres, Grosso or Trezeguet...

'I ken Ken, ken?' is a perfectly correct sentence in Doric.

I've never understood why the Irish do it in conversation, Curr. Just seems odd.

Putting 'so' at the end of a sentence. :disagree:

About the only time they played together in a competitive match, Amauri created a goal for Trez against Palermo. Will be great to see Trez back in the team.

I haven't been to Rome, but going by general football principles, I would say you should be fine.

I thought it was primarily Roma fans that were into ass stabbing. Is it more generally a Roman thing?

You'll generally be okay anywhere in world football providing you don't wear colours or do anything to attract attention to yourself.* *Disclaimer - I cannot be held responsible if you are stabbed.

No Aberdeen game that day. I'd do if if you were stuggling to get someone, but I'm not keen. I'd rather actually watch the game than spend my time on here (notice I'm never in the LIVE thread).

The game is on a Sunday afternoon, but I suspect ESPN may only be showing the evening ones. I'm not sure, though.
