I admire that they were able to make a career out of acting, despite not bothering to adjust their accents at all. It also amuses me.

One has to admire Michael Caine's and Sean Connery's ability to always use the same accent, regardless of the role they are playing.

Given Lion's past record, I will take a wild guess and say that he produced a list designed to provoke disapproval from some people. Of course, I may be wrong and his taste may really be that bad.

I barely restrained myself when I saw your choice of Notting Hill. :D And Braveheart is a decent film, it is just a bit irksome the way that some foreigners take it rather literally and allow it to influence their view of Scotland.

Godfather 1 and 2 are probably my favourite films. I would struggle to just come up with another three but, off the top of my head, Clockwork Orange, American History X and Apocalypse Now are great. Hounorable mentions to Green Mile, Forest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Full Metal Jacket ...
