I'll take your word for it. I'm not convinced he will ever regain his Lyon form so, unless he is pretty cheap, I would probably not sign him.

They play on the ground, but don't have much width in midfield. The width comes from the fullbacks. The system of a relatively narrow midfield doesn't really give Malouda the space which he gets when he gets to play as a more orthodox winger.
