Nah, you're reading far too much into it. If Del Piero wants a job with Juve when he's finished playing, I'd be astonished if he isn't given one.

I haven't given this any consideration, because I'm really not convinced of how mauch playing time Del Piero will get this season. Still, if Del Piero is on the pitch, I'd still consider him first choice set-piece taker.
