We used to have enormous TV and sponsorship deals. These are now a fair bit smaller and so our budget will be lowered accordingly.

We will have the bigger TV money for being in serie A and hopefully CL money next year which should make a difference.

It is certainly a decent price. I would certainly be happier to see Iaquinta used as more of a right winger rather than as an orthodox CF.

All depends how much we paid for him and what role he is to fill in our squad.

Correct on all points. Iaquinta is not a terrible player bt he is not good enough to be a starter either. Unless we get him very cheap I will be disappointed at signing him.

All I said is that he must have thought he was OK, not that he was great. For the record I do not want to sign Iaquinta, I want Hunter and/or Bianchi, but it would not be a disaster to sign Iaquinta.

Agree except if Trez left Laquinta would probably be before Hunter in the pecking order if we signed them.
