:howler: - - - Updated - - - Good idea. Remember when Chievo did brilliantly when they were promoted about ten years ago? Maybe Juve should go for the coach that did so well with them.

...he is an immense disaster... :lol2:

Meh. It's still not close to being the intensity of rivalry that exists between Juve and Inter.

    Didier Deschamps

Man Utd and Chelsea are not rivals historically, so it is perfectly understandable.

    Didier Deschamps

Sweet. Maybe he could buy Mancini, Quaresma and Muntari like he did at Inter. I would suggest Mourinho is rather better at getting the most out of a team given to him than he is at assembling a team. Edit: I see Badass beat me to the punch.

You're being a little harsh on yourself there, Cam.

    Whatever you say, Captain Mainwaring.

But you have to admit that there is something of a pattern emerging regarding Deschamps and arguing with Boards.

As much as I dislike Boumsong, I can understand why he was bought. I have chosen not to hold any of that summer's actions against the Board due to the difficulty of the circumstances. That and the fact that there has been plenty other stuff to complain about since...

Some bookies now have Deschamps as favourite for the Newcastle job.

I would be very surprised if DD would act in such an unprofessional way to destabilse Juve. He may be unhappy about the way he was treated but I would like to think he is above acting in such a fashion.

I somehow doubt he will manage us again while the current management is in charge. While I am disappointed he has gone it is important that the club get sorted out soon because we cannot afford to fall behind other clubs in the transfer market. Coaches come and go, the club is the most...

Remember he has chosen to leave. It's not like he died like some of these posts make it sound.

    Didier Deschamps

Sounds like a good idea to me since he has served the club well as both player and coach.

    Didier Deschamps

While I would be happy for DD o stay, I can't say I will be overly disappointed or worried if he goes. He is a good coach but hardly irreplacable. My only concern would be over the managements ability to get a top class replacement, it goes without saying that I do not want Capello back...

:agree: That's what I have been saying pretty much all season. The sooner DD gets a new contract the better, the more stability we have at the club the better after last summer.

:agree: I always find it tough to understand the Foreign system rather than the British as here the manager has total control whih seems more sensible than having other people, who in this case seem to have different ideas about the team, choosing players for the coach.
