.. Gray, when i enter the "regedit" or '"regedit.exe" it says that the windows cannot find the file. And i finally got to download the Tweak but duuno how to put my start/taskbar menu in it. could you lead me ?

.. Martin, when i enter the "explorer.exe" in RUN it doesnt kill the explorer. all it does is opening "My Documents" folder. what am i really suupose to be doin here?.. coz i'm lost. Abhinav, i got "Avast" and scanned but it didnt get the start menu back.

.. Gray, in order for me to start the registry editor, i need to click on the start button, then select run , and in the open box to type "regedit". Firstly, i dont have the START button to start this with. And secondly, when i try to download the program, this comes up "Redirection...

.. Yes, i do have XP. Tried the safe mode but it still does not show the start menu which means from what you said that i dont have a virus. any other suggestions? and thanks for the reply.

.. i just restarted my system. my start menu is gone from the desktop!!.. i restarted it again still no start menu. how can i get it back?.. god..i hope its not a virus. anybody help?
