Of course you didn't, I am usually condescending when it comes to Windows and it's users. ;)

You are a wild one aren't ya :P? Anyways, one of the most original desktops that I loved in this thread (and mimiced) was Gray's in the first post on this thread. He can be excused for using IE though, since this was in 2003 ;)

So you basically got a fresh install of Ubuntu, changed the wallpaper and decided to share it with us ?::D

Well its just your luck, I had my fair share of configuring on some systems, and others just worked! It all depends on your hardware, but everything has a workaround. If it just the Internet, I am sure that there is a pretty solid solution for that problem. And no I am not a programmer, neither...

Lol because I falsely believed you were asking me how is Kubuntu Feisty on my "Desktop" ;) Actually it's kinda cool, besides Beryl doesn't really show on screenshots, besides the cube. Which gets boring after a while. I was going for an all white desktop, but I found the orange and blue...

You mean Kubuntu? Well I decided to postpone the upgrade for two reasons: 1-My DSL 1 MB/sec seems very unstable, I don't know whats wrong, I am guessing the phone line cannot manage such a "high" transfer rate. It was never this way with my 512, so I'll weather this month and downgrade to...

I hate the XP theme :yuck: If I had to work on an XP theme, I usually go to properties of my computer, then go to the advanced tab then adjust it to "best performance".

Perhaps, never used it, would like to take it out for a test drive someday. I'll just wait till it becomes stable. You should write a HOWTO man!

Well if its like the Mac dashboard, then they shouldn't be on the Desktop. But rather when you hover to the top left you get the applets popping out. No Windows over anything :P

See...don't judge a book from it's cover ;) But ya I am amazed at how stable it is despite it's still Beta!

Speaking of expose, there is the Mac dashboard equivelant, Jackfield, which could prove useful. However it's still not stable yet. I have Beryl now, I really don't wanna fuck up my system with too much bleed. Tell me how it goes if you try it out!

Ya its kind of a slowdown, I don't use it, I was just asking because I discovered it two days after installing Beryl :D About your post on that forum, unfortunately I never used snapping before, nor do I know what it does. I will try to enable it and figure it out, since you seem so fond of...
