Sadly the downside to not having strict gun laws. In a perfect world, responsible people would be allowed to have guns for hobby purposes (target shooting, hunting, just plain collecting) or protection, while all the crazies & gangbangers couldn't, but unfortunately that is not reality.

Nothing to do with guns, but he & his family managed to fraud the government into giving them $12,000 by hiding money in secret accounts. That was the worst I found out about anyway.

Wow, that's even stricter than here I think. Though I'm not a gun person so all I know is from my ex, who wasn't particularly a shining example of a law abiding citizen.

The only thing I've ever shot is an air rifle in my ex's house. And that statement sounded unintentionally awful.
