Out with these old-fashioned goal poachers - those immobile, awkward strikers that are useless outside the area and offer nothing else than scoring. Yes, we need goals, but in this day and age, dynamic, complete strikers are where it's at. How many good teams use pure poachers these days...

Always want what's not ours, eh? Do you guys watch him play in Serie B regularly? Because I see no other reason that we should want him when we have Immobile whose career stats are more impressive. Unless that run of 10 goals in 13 games for Italy u-21 has sold you :shifty:

Yeahhh, but what I'm saying is this player has shown nothing other than 13 games for the Azzurrini.

The hype doesn't mean anything to me when he's being judged off of 13 games. 6 appearances for Atalanta since 2009! Last season he was on loan to Cittadella where he made 27 appearances scoring... 5 goals.

But we don't even know if he's that good. There are lots of great youth we can go for; we don't need to gamble on some 5-game wonder.

Judging a player solely on a few appearances at junior football is silly. And to say he's good enough for Juve (with Matri, Quag, DP, Vucinic and even Toni) when he can't get past friggin' Denis, makes no sense.
