Dude was injured for the first half of the season, it was pretty tough to integrate into the squad early. I agree Allegri could have done better with him from january onward though.

As a regista? No. Well, I’m sure some random team would have paid that for him easily after 16-17. But he was in a 2-man mid that season and not really a regista. He was better than our other options there last year, but this year would have been nice to put Can in that role and push Pjanic...

:tup: Pjanic being horseshoed into that regista role all season is the most annoying aspect of this year. Last year it was understandable as we didn’t have Can and Bentancur was nowhere near ready, but this year we could easily have played Can or Bentancur in that position and Berna or Matuidi...

Meh. We just won the scudetto a week ago, I doubt most of them give two shits here. Chiellini, Bonucci, Cuadrado the only ones on the pitch that have been here long enough to be super into the rivalry at this point.
