Meh. I wouldn't say that. As I said, they did enough to win each and every game, but aside from brief spells never really looked like a dominant force. It's impressive in its own way, to always have that extra gear in the bag for the moments needed. But as far as most dominant ever, come on...

I'm not particularly fond of them, but they were the most consistent team over the course of the tournament and deserved it. Maybe there were other teams that had better single matches, and France wasn't a dominant force like some other world cup winners of the past, but they consistently did...

I don't think it's "low quality", it's just not as quality as some of the best world cups of all time. But that's the modern game in general. Athleticism is through the roof, technical quality is down.
