No. Never. Been cheering for the Habs since birth. My Pops was a Habs fan even though he was born and raised in Brantford (6-7 years older than Gretzky and saw him play hockey as a kid), just south of Toronto. So naturally, just followed that path.

Lane Hutson is gonna be good. Juraj Slafkovsky turned into a monster this season. Club makes a good choice with the 5th-7th pick this year and we could finally be back amongst the contenders once everyone starts getting closer to their primes in a few years. Exciting times.

Biggest upset in NHL history. Panthers only made the playoffs on the second last day of the season. Bruins broke the Habs 1976-77 regular season record, but then go out to an 8th seed in the first round lol That Habs team swept the Bruins in the 76-77 Stanley cup final, 4 games to nil. 1682917033

@Mark These refs should be fired. That was absurd. Literally swung his stick into Perry’s nose and cut it right open. One of the most obvious high sticking calls I’ve ever seen 1624072902 Insane game. Being outshot 30-8 and turning it around for the OT win with 2 goals from a guy who had 1 in...

Price stood on his head and Scheifele went full retard in game 1. But damn, crazy how the old guys like Perry and Staal looking like they knocked a good 5+ years off their legs for this playoff run. Loving that. Kotkaniemi looking fantastic too after his mess of a regular season. Curious to...

Winnipeg’s a far more intelligent and disciplined team than the Leafs. Hard to see us beating ‘em unless Price stands on his head.

@Mark You watch tonight? Witnessing something special. Has to be first time ever a rookie’s first two goals have been OT winners, and to do it in back to back games, with the playoffs on the line. Probably clinched us a spot, and has us up tied in third now too. :tuttosport: Where the heck is...

Kypreos is an idiot, but... Have you seen how fucked Nashville’s salary cap would be if Weber retires due to the cap recapture rule? https://awinninghabit.com/2020/02/13/montreal-canadiens-shea-weber-retirement-set-nhl-history/ What a bizarre rule.

 Rating a goalie who played his entire prime for the most defensive team in hockey on wins and shutouts is so amusing. Roy played his first 10 years in by far the weakest team of any of them though. :P If Hasek had played his early career in the NHL it wouldn’t even be a discussion and I...

As I said, no one involved in hockey calls Brodeur the greatest. Calling him the undisputed greatest as though it’s a fact based upon wins and shutouts is myopic and plain dumb. Your opinion isn’t fact lol New Jersey didn’t win a cup after the Stevens-Niedermayer-Daneyko era. Brodeur never...

Suggesting Brodeur is on Gretzky’s level. :sergio: Gretzky and Orr are basically unanimous choices as the greatest players of all-time. Next to no one but you thinks Brodeur is even a top 2 goalie of all time let alone the clear greatest :lol2:

Yeah, almost retired Bourque a real selling point. And Selanne and Kariya were there for one year, lol, after Roy retired, and pretty clearly didn't win a cup. Plus talking about Tanguay, Drury, Foote, and Deadmarsh as something special  Good rubbish. :baus: The most important records...

Cuz that's a winning argument. :baus: He didn't leave New Jersey. Yeah. Because they had one of, if not, the best GM in hockey for his entire time there. Better numbers lol. Sure thing bud. Brodeur played his entire prime in an organization that had hall of fame GM Lou Lamoriello keeping it at...

Yeah. Wins and shutouts completely take into account who had the better teams in front of them. Brodeur never had to play on teams as mediocre as Hasek’s Sabres or led teams as average as Roy’s Canadiens to a Stanley cup championship. Simple as that.

Definitely the GOAT? According to you. It’s an opinion. Again, most hockey writers and pundits disagree. He played in the lowest scoring era, for the best defensive team, a team that they changed the rules of hockey for to get rid of their defensive system. But it’s okay, keep arguing that it...
