You joke about it, but majority of the time I seen him, he is not exactly someone who plays that direct in impact, he just floats around and keeps possession. Seemed like someone who is style over substance to me. So maybe check your expectations a little.

He is younger with potential and cheaper salary, but he is defenitely not the better player. 2 seasons in Barca without establishing himself, while Pjanic has had a stellar career in the top level and been amongst the top players in his position. This is not a pissing contest, I'm defenitely...

Contract negotiations is fine, but media has been reporting for near month that he does not want to come to Juve at all, that he needs major convincing and it takes alot just to persuade him to entertain the idea. Thats most likely true, I dont think it will be anything big, its cooking books for 30th June first and foremost. But this is a midfield signing, if we didnt sell Pjanic, we would do for atleast 50m-ish sum, so by doing this trade we are atleast saving some funds we would be forced to use to...

This is the most key aspect of this deal. Who are we saving funds for to get by doing this cost saving trade.

It's not somehow, the 7 years age difference is massive for valuation of assets. Odds are Pjanic next move after Barca Barca contract is semi retiring one of little to no resale for them. While this kid in good or bad will have resale value because he is still young, not even in peak years yet.

It's so super common human behaviour. Wouldn't hold it against him, feeling unwanted and confused, under pressure. Our very own Pjanic been playing like he mentally checked out too, probably because he was told he is leaving since last summer.

Not really impressive. Some realky good qualities shown but not really standout performances. It's more about potential with him, and not what he shown so far.

Why should they, even if he is not starting for them, they trading a 23 year old with a 30 year old. Pjanic is more proven, but talent skill level isnt big enough to excuse away the age difference.

It's just cooking books, the valuations, its 10m + Pjanic.

I dont think people here know him much actually, only that he has had injury issues and that he doesnt wanna leave barca/come to Juve. Rest of the negative hoopla is just exaggerated on those two facts.
