Not really imo :D The Americans I've met in Europe were generally really friendly & open. A bit loud & annoying over time maybe, but really not rude. The stereotypical Muricans probably don't bother to even go overseas. - - - Updated - - - Germans have been way worse in my experience :P - -...

Not quite sure what your point is, sorry :D

Tevez' CL record was pretty awful until his last season with us too tbh - although that's what you get for spending a couple of seasons at City I guess.

But no one is buying their star players, it's mostly just deadwood.

Not sure his move to City gad that much to do with money though, think he just couldn't stand Fergie.

There were some rumours about them offering 100/year to Messi...

Can't get comfy with a pesky 8 million a year :agree:

He's allowed to do it with Boca :D

I imagine that him going back to Boca after two years already was most probably already discussed when he first came here, with Beppe already promising him not to stand in his way should that be his desire.

 Cavani would most certainly mean a new Juve transfer record.

Well, that certainly is a strong blow, but thankfully we're still not ill-equipped in attack anyways. With Tevez leaving I would very much see Berardi return though.

5 million is the pretty much the amount I've reallistically expected, with 10 million being the best case scenario and 0 the worst.

But players say that literally ALL the time, no reasonable person would've been upset about that, nor would it have brought chaos or unrest into the squad before the final stages of the CL.
  15. Ocelot

    Carlos Tevez

He could have easily said teh usual ambigious BS players say in these situations and no one would've worried a bit back then. He was in no need to come out and say that he'll stay definitely, and "I'm only thinking about the present and the CL and not what happens afterwards" or some shit like...

    Carlos Tevez

Tevez won't go to fucking Inter. I actually have little to no problems with the players in 2006 that left to teams outside of Italy and didn't talk shit about the club afterwards. Staying with a club in Serie B when you're among the best players in the world isn't something to be expected...

A lot of overreacting in here :D

There are limits as to how the profession of a football player is similar to your ordinary day job though, making these comparisons pretty much unfit for an argument in this discussion.

Marotta always said that he'll "respect Tevez' decision".
