Oh, I was talking without taking into account his influence on transfers. Wouldn't make sense otherwise in the context of the post I replied to. He did get players that, while being great players, were really not what the team needed for the most part.

United probably underachieved a bit this season, but their squad is woeful in some areas. A coach that's fantastic at masking these flaws by creating a strong unit, like Conte or Simeone might have challenged for the title, but this is not Mourinho's fault.
