What the hell? Here in Holland everyone is already discussing van Bommel's place in the Barcelona team, and even Hiddink thinks the contract has been signed weeks ago. If Moggi could pull this one off it would be the biggest surprise of the year. Barcelona wouldn't be too happy about it though...

Van Bommel isn't really that defensive, he's more of a two-way midfielder. Emerson is definately more defensive then him. And no way he's willing to sit on the bench.

Besides I'd don't want van Bommel at Juventus. Blasi, Tacchinardi and Maresca are better players. I'm not saying that he is a bad player, but not Juve material. I hope he goes to Barcelona, they are badly lacking defensive midfielders at the moment.
