When we first got him I read how he had a bit of a gladiator mentality. Then last year when one of his first few appearances was against RM in the CL and he stood right in Ramos' face, I thought to myself, "Hmm. This kid really does not give a fuck".

I would disagree there. I thought he had a noticeable impact on the match. Padoin is someone you can say "doesn't mess anything up". Sturaro saved a goal. He saved a goal with an effort not many players will make. He had at least 2 fantastic interceptions and one started a very dangerous counter...

I don't think he's meant for a box to box role. We have to see him as a DM. Of course with Marchisio here he still may not be a starter but he could be "starter quality" at that position.

See that is an incredible effort. That is something that is not in every player.

If he keeps up this grinta he can play for this team a long, long time. Not scared of anything.
