These NHL Outdoor Classic games are total crap. I feel like I'm watching the same game year after year and it always features the same four teams: Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Washington. The ice is garbage and the product itself is sub-par for a "showcase" game. What's the end-game here...

I'd argue: East - more physical West - more finesse, plenty of good players get overlooked in this conference because the games are hard to follow (like in your case) Haven't really been watching this year, though.
