Ok, so that's one day, not on the first startup ;)

You know Lac, you should not have set moz as your default as readily as you seem to have done. I'm very hesitant about that myself and never agree to it unless I'm positive I'm not going to want to change back cause it's not always trivial to do so.

I could have sworn I saw a password protect setting somewhere. But gray knows Moz better than me by now.. Usually it will prompt you on start up, if you've disabled that it's trickier, you have to dig in the IE settings me thinks.

No, because they are completely unrelated. You prolly need to connect first, then start moz.

As I said, it has nothing to do with IE or Mozilla. You need to set up your connection in windows, I think you already have, you just need to bring out that connect dialog separately.

John, your internet connection has nothing to do with IE. I remember that in a certain setup, you would be prompted to connect when starting IE but those aren't really related. You should be able to access that dialup dialog from the control panel's network settings somewhere, it has nothing to...

Yeah tell it like it is, bro. I installed an extension for searching multiple engines, you can also add your own. Now I got a quick dictionary lookup. Kinda takes some satisfaction out of it knowing that in Firebird it's built in and you just type "dict word" in the location bar but whatever :D

Ok, that link you gave me gray.. I have like 15 extensions now, I didn't even know there were extensions for moz, they always advertised Firebird had them though. :lazy: Anyway, great stuff!!!

Click on my signature, scroll to speed and find out why IE is faster. :) But there's always Firebird, I'd be surprised if you told me that one too is slower than IE.

Well it was advertised as the latest so what the hell. Besides I've been using 1.6a for several days and there's nothing wrong with it ;)

Camino is for Mac only. Mozilla is the full suite, with a mail client included. Firebird is a cut down version of Mozilla with just the browser, better if you have a slow computer.

Well IE is like 2 years old, a month isn't a lot in software. But here's the latest stable build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.6a/mozilla-win32-1.6a-installer.exe

Well it's not for everyone. But I think a guy like gray could get a kick out of it, he's already demonstrated he likes to play around with settings and spice up the look of his desktop :)
