I've always thought Gio, is really best utilised as an impact sub, he really makes a difference coming on late when the opposition are tired and they can't deal with him, over 90 mins he's far too easily contained.
Our ability to play possession football has taken a huge dip this year, partly because of fatigue and I think it's fair to factor in the huge amount of times Giovinco gets moved aside when he's on the ball.
I think Giovinco will never truly settle at Juventus. He's a player who needs the team building around him, he's certainly not good enough to warrant that here, he'll be a very lucky man if for some reason we change to 4-3-3.
I'd agree with that and also say his off the ball in fact helps our midfield even more to push forwards.
Would Giovinco allow Marchisio to push forwards and roam freely as much as he has been doing? Its an important question.
Shameeee, Chiellini crushed him like an ant, even Barzagli was ready to rip his head off at one point. All he could score do was score a completely undeserved goal.
One word, DOMINATED
I have to say the fact we brought in Martinez to replace Giovinco has been one of the silliest moves I've seen, Giovinco is better and would have saved us €12m. Plus it's something we can't rectify since we are pretty much giving him away to Parma. A complete ball ache.
I would be so laughing at you Kaski if you did all that and then he never got played and never played for Italy. :D
Having said that I hope it doesn't actually happen.
It must be the priority of the club to bring him back this summer if he continues his form, if he can make Amauri score then he surely adds something invaluble.
The time is ripe for a ADP replacement to come in, forza Seba and come back please
