I don't think much of our bench players, clearly, but I really doubt that Mirko or Giovinco woud have struggled against the likes of Catania and co. Our rotation problem is on Conte, and if he thinks Drogba will solve that, then we have a much bigger problem.

Torres and Villa would make much more sense than Drogba, even if they would cost more.

But again, our problem is not really the league now, is it?

Exactly, and Drogba is not the answer. Add a Sanchez, Di Maria or Shaqiri and this would make more sense. But when I look at the wages, I start to doubt this.

Remember that the problem is not Serie A.

We don't have the youngest squad out there, and if we keep getting these players because they're cheap (for a reason), we're gonna have problems in the recent future replacing them. Look at Buffon, Barzagli, Pirlo, Lichtsteiner, Tevez and now possibly Drogba. We're gonna get to a point where...

If we keep signing these players, we're gonna have problems replacing them all at once. It's like we're collecting old players these days.

We're replacing 2 (+ Osvaldo) with 1 player? And for 3.5M/year? Clearly not a good idea if we don't intend to add more forwards or change the line up for good.
