    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

Well we knew we needed a long term left back for some time @Cronios Italy isn't like England where the coach is a manager and has a direct hand in transfers, Marotta and co do the deals and then look for an ok from him, Allegri is obviously not going to turn down Alex Sandro. But of course when...

    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

I suppose it takes away some tactical and defensive responsibility, but I've just not seen enough attacking quality from Pogba in these last 12 months to think he warrants the role. It's true that this is the formation that probably gets the best out of fitting most of our best players into a...

Yes he often takes up positions similar to the central AM there, but he's not refined enough to be the regular player in that position, for me anyway. At least, as you say, there are options and link players around him to enable it to work.

I see what you are saying, but Pogba thinks that he should be playing closer to goal.

    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

He's quite a pathetic attention seeker, as if his hair wasn't evidence enough, but I suppose the guy has to enjoy his little victories now and again. He gets brutalised on there often enough by his stupidity arguing with people on the internet.

    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

Shit result and performance largely, not overly excited by seeing a team pull a performance back when the game is (should be) lost, that's easy in a way, but maybe this was important psychologically. Repeating myself but this was always the wrong game at the wrong time, however it would have...

Probably just rotated out, considering his ongoing return from a few niggles, and age.

    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

Well Allegri is the one saying that Padoin is the vice-Marchisio, but really he has other options when push comes to shove. Just two less because of injuries. And we do need another MC. I don't know what any of this has to do with being in the CL final, but I'm sure "from the CL final to...

Does getting to the CL final normally prevent your starting DM from getting injured?

If you take Pjanic and De Rossi out of Roma's midfield it looks a bit weak too, funny that. This last week has been so random I'd probably take a point here now, but I don't see it being a draw.

    [Serie A] Roma - JUVENTUS (August 30th, 2015)

Didn't I read Allegri say recently that he saw Pogba as a regista later in his career? Anyway, when he first broke through here I thought he would end up playing as a regular CM, then he started firing shots in from everywhere and showcasing his skills. Maybe he could do with a little time doing...

I don't think we'll see much of Dybala at all in a 3-5-2. In fact I'd expect Morata and Mandzukic to be first choice in that formation.

Yes, especially if we are battling to control midfield. When Marchisio comes back we'll probably return to a back four.
