I don't know, I haven't seen any training lists. I'd assume Pasquato is with the team.

We don't officially have a reserve squad, it's just something transfermarkt use for players in limbo (outcasts, those about to be sold, too old for Primavera and about to be loaned etc). During the season you will only see a couple of kids or someone like Iaquinta in that list.

Spain's numbers are very impressive. Obviously we shouldn't focus on the relatively small leagues that dominate at the top, as their whole model is based around developing players, but those figures are an embarrassment.

BTW we do have a co-ownership thread, somewhere. Only a few of these have any first team potential, like you say, most of them are just financial investments. We'll probably see more sales with buyback options after this season, or paid loans.

Torino by far the best in Girone A this season. Atalanta (unsurprisingly) and Chievo in Girone B. Lazio and Fiorentina in Girone C. Other than Chievo and Torino, these plus the big sides are annually strong. Juve, Milan, Inter and Roma haven't been doing particularly well this campaign.

Moved your post to here, thread is in Team Discussion. Romagna I know is playing above his age group and is very highly rated, something of a leader. Mattiello has been considered one of our brightest talents since he arrived, personally I think he has a better chance than most to play for us...

Yes, but that is actually quite short sighted by a lot of young players and their agents because they have close to zero immediate chance to play here. The back up plan is the certain chance to play elsewhere on loan or co-ownership. But in reality if those players started off at a lowly Serie A...

Getting players into the first team is the real goal, no one really cares about youth titles. Of course it's always harder to do it at a big CL club such as ourselves, but the youth system should at least pay for itself over time, and we'll pick the best ones.

Don't judge too harshly with youth players, sometimes it just falls apart and teams collapse, they haven't got that experience yet to battle through and they take the scoreline to heart.

Still, shame we couldn't beat them at home, we would probably have won the group.

I heard he is a rounded striker who has a great shot and finish from mid-range in. Maybe like someone we once knew... ;) Having not actually seen him play yet I'll take that with a pinch of salt. That age group has some very good strikers. Luca Clemenza is another to watch, tall second striker...

Real Madrid drew their previous games with GS and Copenhagen, who we both outplayed. Youth football, random shit. Hopefully we win the reverse fixture as the group will then be back in our grasp.
