[Champions League] Chelsea 2-2 JUVENTUS (19th September 2012)

Yeah, they've always been a bit posh. But in the old days they certainly had a vocal and 'animated' group :D

Because they have been drinking all day when they play away. When they play at home if you so much as stand up the stewards throw you out.

That's the problem, you don't get 'drunken' type regular fans go to these games anymore, because the tickets are extortionate and reserved for prawn sandwich fans. A 'theatre' sit-and-watch culture has engulfed the top sides in the PL, and even further down. Our fans were impressive, but...

On Sky Sports they kept referring to Oscar as the 'little Brazilian', I swear he is about 6ft tall. Just checked, he is 5'11". Positively a midget.

Tough for me to vote between Vidal, Marchisio and Chiellini. Special mention to Asamoah and Lichtsteiner. For me Vidal playing on through an injury, scoring a key goal injured and going until 90 mins gets the nod.

Personally I think those who thought we played badly have shit in their eyes, but that's just my opinion. The only thing we really lacked was a reference up front.

You have to expect some nerves, but that wasn't why we conceded two goals, they came from little. One deflection and one wonder goal. Generally we played a good game and matched Chelsea in their own yard. I don't think this result should be underestimated, just look at Chelsea's home record...

Their 2008-09 team was certainly better, if anything because they were established and a strong unit. This current team is still under construction.

That's because they just take a look at the goals conceded column from last season rather than actually see the team play. If they had took the time to watch the Genoa game I doubt they would be so impressed :D

Fuck going to the pub with Chelsea pikey/student mobs. Got my remote and beer, both will be useful.

Expecting the worst, hoping for the best. We can't really judge how the team will do, we haven't been here before with this side. I just don't want to be overrun and surprised.

Why would they have no chance against us?

I'm never confident when we play away in England, but I think playing Chelsea away in the first game is a good time. We have the chance to surprise them, and even if we lose it's not the end of the world at this stage.
