I'd rather eat my own face than have Secco come back with his Football Manager 2009 guide to being a sporting director.
As for Marotta, I'd like to see a 20% or so shift in his spending mentality, if he is fully responsible.
I just read a post praising the purchases of Secco, which then followed with talk of how Marotta wasted an unbelievable amount of money.
Then I stopped reading.
FM-style directors FTW.
The way I see it:
Secco - means well, delusions of grandeur and out of his depth.
Marotta - means well, purposely tries to make wine out of water and possibly out of his depth.
