The kid on the right of the first photo obviously spelt his name wrong.

Imagine that now with VAR. We'd have had 4 penalties given against us. But of course you adapt accordingly, Lichtsteiner was never stupid.

Thanks for everything. What a legend and bastard, hilarious at times.

Nice move for him at this stage of his career. Monte Carlo...suppose it'll do.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

Yeah he just ran off the field and Juve played with 10 for a few minutes.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

Great signing, just the kind of player we needed for his role. Mentally he's different class. Grazie campione.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

Grazie, campione. Technically he's a 7, mentally he's a 10, and physically a 9 for all but perhaps the last 1.5 years here. Great signing and one who transposes that willing mentality onto the pitch. Proper bastard, so many highlights. Seems like a decent move for him as well, even if he'll...

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

Well I don't see many being overly unreasonable? He's a mile off his best and has been for a good 18 months (I'm probably being generous), but it's not a black and white thing. He'll always be a trier, and personally I'll not overly criticise players like this, but his use of the ball has gone...

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

I think he slipped at first, like a lot of players on that pitch, but it's odd how people go from one extreme to the other with this guy. He's not a make-or-break CL player, and he's not crap. He's decent and wily but has been in decline for a season and a bit at least.

Höwedes right back gives with either Douglas Costa or Bernardeschi RW with more attacking license is surely in the thoughts of Allegri, it's basically an improved Barzagli set up (who is neither a right back nor does he have the legs for it anymore).

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

Howedes is there also. I can see from a technical position why MDS might have been included instead (younger legs for more frantic style of football, more versatile), but after last season's omission and the professional way in which he dealt with it, plus his current readiness (far ahead of...

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

He doesn't have a season in him of this level any more, but if we manage him correctly then he's still useful for this final season.

They're all going to say 32 because that's the official line and what comes up if you search wiki etc.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

He wasn't good today so he shouldn't be complaining.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

If you watch the goal he initially looks to cover Chiellini's position, then as the attack progresses he's just stood marking thin air. His reaction with his head in his hands also says a lot.

    Stephan Lichtsteiner

The goal is on Rugani, the header was in his position and he was supposed to be man marking him all game.
