Maresca would be nice to see but he is not a tactical choice...its not clear WHAT he will do..where he willl contribute or how. I want to see him but.... he has not earned his spot on the team then again many have not but are still selected. For God's Sake PIRLO is not considered a selection yet.

One can argue that neither does Maresca or Miccoli and sometimes Del Piero. Not many players would start with Pirlo and Gattuso ahead.

I am not convinced yet BUT if you bring Del Piero because of his past you have to bring Pippo (I'm not comparing talents but contribution to the team...Pippo has as many goals as Vieri with the National). WANT TO SEE: Cassano, Maresca, Ambrosini. Not sure: Miccoli, Panucci.

I say everybody gets a shot....and I would even say give DP and Vieri a shot at it. However, stop insisting on using DP game after game hoping to find his "form" only NEVER to find it and after the tournament saying "well anyhow he was not 100%". THEN DON"T FOKIN PLAY HIM. Plain and simple...

As great as it sounds on a paper we have a striker who has been off his game the entire season showing his lack of passion for playing AND wear and tear given his type of "game" Another player (DP) who has never gotten it "together" this season only to be riddled with yet another injury...
