I think he’s really misused as a #10 / SS in our formation. The quality is obvious there, but this role isn’t suited to him at all. On the other hand, if we wanted a SS we would had been better off resigning with Dybala

To be honest, I can't remember the last player who relied on pace and got back to his proper level after an ACL injury. Most memorable case for me was Hector Bellerin. In his prime he was faster than Walcott. After his ACL he lost most of his pace and right now is playing at Real Betis.

I've been critical on his arrival and transfer fee, even though he has some bad moments he does have the same drive Mandzukic had on that left lank. He also keep running and attacking the space for 90 min's.

I understand the jury is still out on him and we won't draw any clear conclusion before the December-break, but to me he doesn't represent a 50-60M player at all. His cameo today once again showed his limitations are way too obvious: he's got pace (obviously and a decent cross) but he can't cut...

In fairness I don’t think we should use 4 at the back

See no reason to bench Danilo :snoop:

Don’t see much improvement so far, he probably isn’t a LW either and better on the right. But let’s not fool ourself, no where near worth 60M

Yeah but the worrying thing is, Italy played against packed defences and teams that had no intention of attacking. Italy's status has changed recently, we even played with 4 CB's at the start of the match changing our system to a back 5. At Juve, he'll have to face packed defence on a weekly...

His crossing was decent yesterday and always have been when I've seen him. I actually thought he was more accustomed to playing RW in a 4-3-3 but he doesn't have enough variety in his game to play that position. He reminds me more of a 'classical' winger / right midfielder used in a 4-4-2 like a...

Head down, kicking the ball forward and trying to outpace his opponent. If we have to go by yesterday, I don't really see a 50M player in him

won a Bundesliga with Wolfsburg as a starter
