Ya torrents are blocked where i live too :rolleyes: So if get to download it from the internet, i wouldn't require steam, but if i try and install it from the cd it wouldn't work, right?

I just bought the game, and its written on the back of the cd that the game requires you to have a "steam" account, which is blocked where i live. Is there no way to be able to install and play the game without a steam account?
