    They're obviously lying. A muslim would never say Jesus was a minor prophet, he is one of the most respected and revered prophets in Islam, he is also one of the most mentioned prophets in the Koran.

    I'm not with forcing any girl to wear hijab. Once she's old enough she can choose if she wants to wear it or not. At least for me, and in my family that is the case.

    Neither would you. Probability suggests that i would be closer to the truth though as i have encountered and met much more muslim women than you have.

    I wasn't discussing social and economic systems. It was just an analogy. If you're asking me if the psychological principle you were suggesting is true in the case of muslim women wearing hijab. My answer is, for the majority of them no.

    I never said non muslim women wanted to wear a scarf over their head. Muslim women meanwhile, at least the large majority of them wear it out of choice. There are many women that work here and live alone, their brothers/fathers/ etc are not with them. Yet they still wear veils. But...
