Yes he has been played there a few times when Jean Fernandez was Marseilles coach, Fernandez used to play the straight 4-4-2, so when he played Nasri, he played him on the left. He was terrible though, and never really got a starting spot for the team till Fernandez got the sack.

I dont understand why some people here are saying Nasri is versatile, he cant play anywhere other than behind the strikers, it even caused some problems to L'OM at first.

Just a bad game, Nasri is a fantastic player no doubt about that. Of course he is, but is that all you want from an lb.
