Big Ridley Scott fan even though he’s been kinda hit or miss lately. Hope it’s as good as we expect it to be. Too bad Kubrick never got to finish his Napoleon movie. That would have been one for the ages.

I’ll have to rewatch it and get back to you. Don’t remember much about it but I know I’ve seen it a long time ago.

What’s your opinion on Das Boot? I recommended it to a friend the other day. It’s by far one of my favorite war movies.

The moment people started comparing it and even described it as a new 2001: A Space Odyssey it instantly became a fail to me. I, of course, gave it a fair chance and watched it to see if I’d change my mind. Nope. So I make your points mine.

Btw have you seen Raised by Wolves yet? Watched the first 3 episodes and loved it. The aesthetic of the world/characters quite resembles all the Alien stuff.

Oh yeahhh Villeneuve is good, he nailed the Blade Runner vibe. The book is great and deserves a move to do it justice. The one adaptation from the 80's although weird af is a guilty pleasure of mine (Come on it had STING!) Looking forward to this new one

Finally decided to watch Dear Zachary and holy fuck, what a disturbing story. It’s one of those things that won’t leave me for months. Truly haunting. Hate isn’t a strong enough word to describe how one feels right after watching it. Next on my list is Shoah.

Of course it was better in the first movie, it was made by a fucking legend that’s Vangelis :D This soundtrack was supposed to be made by Johann Johansson but iirc there were disagreements between him and Villeneuve. He wanted it to capture Vangelis masterpiece. So Zimmer (and the other guy I...

Then get the book! It's a looong but great read. I had it when I was a kid and I bought a new copy couple months ago and I intend to re read it sometime before the second movie comes out.

It's a horror movie so don't expect it to blow your mind. There's always the silly stuff and the scary stuff. It's got a bit of both with a pinch of comedy. It it could have been a teenie horror if they had picked the wrong actor to play Pennywise. Swedish dude is an odd looking dude, he's got...

Tim who? The Swedish dude nailed it. I doubted he could but he did it. Impressive performance. - - - Updated - - - It is. Of course a lot had to be left out when you're running just a little over two hours but I'll say this, I've been a fan of the book since I was kid and IMO as far as the...
