You should be able to go from tiger to snow leopard with just the SL upgrade disk. I doubt you could install mountain lion or lion on a tiger based Mac. Just my thoughts.

I cant say I haven't used Linux in years but it was just my opinion. Also, OSX is based on Unix.

For the record: OSX destroys windows.

Hi Nzoric You can get Steam on OSX which will run most of Valves games as well as plenty of others from their game library. there is also the OSX App Store Game section. I also Bootcamp my machine to run some more 'hardcore' games like Skyrim and BF3. bootcamping is really easy...
