He was poor. In his defence just about every time he got the ball he had 3 players on him because we had absolutely not threat from anyone else other than him or Cambiaso. But he doesn't help himself by slowing things down to walking speed before starting a dribble.

He should really back himself more. There are times where you just want him to run straight at the goal, defenders hate him running at them. There was one in the second half where he was running to the box on the break and should have just headed at the defender and shifted him right/left and...

Brilliant finish, reminded me a bit of a goal Ronaldo scored for us where you expect him to check back back but lets it come across him and hit it perfectly on his left.

They weren't starter numbers. It was 4 goals and 6 assists in 11 starts.

Someone yesterday suggested Samardzic in Miretti's role. I think that would work well but could block Fagioli. Maybe Fagioli could take another step this season to link the attack better.

Good game, great to see him get a goal. He can be the leader of this team if he stays fit. I like the drive of him and Vlahovic up front.

He might be finished but it is way too early to tell. He has been out for a year and will take at least a year to get back to a level physically where we can judge him.

Had an absolute shocker

He clearly hasn't found his touch yet but he's still finding a way to create chances. Assist tonight and very close to another in the first half with Milik.

Poor performance but his determination/movement plays a huge part in our equaliser with him chasing down a ball to win the corner.

Pretty poor performance. They double/tripled up on him which didn't help but he should lift his head in those situations and pass the ball.

It's almost like he missed a year with the worst kind of injury a footballer can get. Way too early to write him off. This season was always going to be inconsistent in terms of performances and fitness.

Had one nice move to set up Di Maria who should have scored. But apart from that he was terrible, with some schoolboy mistakes.

Hopefully just being cautious. I'd far prefer that at the moment than taking unnecessary risks. He's looking a bit sharper in recent appearances, so would be massive blow if he has a setback.

Hopefully the fact they kept him on is a good sign, although he clearly didn't want to get involved. I'd prefer we hadn't risked him and just played with 10.
