    Weston “Immovable” McKennie

Mixed game, his passing was sloppy but his willingness to get forward led to a couple of assists. The first was really nice, the second was effectively a lay off but he did well to get in that position. It was also him who gave the ball away under no pressure to a Frosinone player 30 yards out...

Good game. Two nice assists, particularly the second.

 I think I'd still consider the offer if we could get our money back :shifty: If you look back over the 2 year period since that post he's done well so far this season overall but the remainder of that period he was pretty poor, and did worse at Leeds then pretty much everyone expected...

They definitely look like more of a team and one that knows its limits. Sometimes knowing that you aren't the best footballing team can bring a squad together as they know that they need to make up for it in other ways e.g. defensive organisation and work rate. Allegri said in his post match...

Far better as a wing back than a centre mid. His passing is really poor.

    Weston “Immovable” McKennie

Thought he did well overall but his use of the ball was really poor at times, particularly in that 10/15min spell in the second half where we were under intense pressure. But he defended well and is doing better at blocking crosses, although still needs to improve on that.

He's not a CM. It exposes his biggest weaknesses and he doesn't look comfortable there. RWB limits those and makes the most of his running. He played better when he moved there. Poor game overall but his defensive headers were good.

Good game, tidy with the ball. I always love to see wingbacks getting a goal at the back post. There is no reason why McKennie can't get more goals that way.

Good game. He still needs to work on his defensive positioning and getting closer to the winger to stop them getting crosses/cutting in. He was was a good outlet and had some nice passes. He is far ahead of Weah at the moment.

I thought he did well defensively, he was switched on to a few situations behind him. I preferred him to Weah today. But going forward he is limited, especially out wide.

Is this really what Tuz has become? Trying to defend a player because they can do a trick in warm up better than a couple of forum members (no offence @Alen @Post Ironic )

A loan might have been the only way McKennie accepted the deal. He maybe doesn't want to go permanently unless Leeds confirn they'll be in the EPL next season. Provided it turns in to an obligation if they stay up it should be fine.

I don't disagree but I think that's what it would take to stop him getting minutes. I thought he did well against Udinese (defensively at least) to be fair to him but was atrocious today in just about everything.

    Weston “Immovable” McKennie

I'm sure the reason he is playing is the lack of defensive options at RB/RWB and CB. If we sign a CB we could have played Danilo at RB instead of the middle. That means we can play Chiesa/Di Maria/Soule on the right and have someone defensive behind them. Or have Cuadrado back to play on the...

His first 20 mins or so were as bad as I have seen him and I've seen a lot of poor performances from him. He got caught flat footed a few times and it cost us the opener. He improved a bit from there but still a really poor game.
