To be fair to him his loan at Anderlecht was ruined by covid. He seemed to gradually be getting more involved and the season stopped after 4 games or so.

Did well. He made himself available, played some good passes and only gave the ball away once. Not much more you could ask for on his first game back.

Good move, he needs a run of games and even better that it is in Serie A with a team that should suit him. Glad we have got a buyback on him.

Could go either way, the talent is definitely there. I think a season or two of regular football would make a big difference, if it is in Serie A then even better.

I wouldn't mind Alex Sandro LW other than the fact it would mean that he would rarely get a rest and relying on Asamoah more. I'd prefer if we could rotate with players who aren't regular starters.

Thought he had a good game. He is inconsistent during the game, he does some very good things e.g. picking the ball up turning defender and run forward, but a lot of mistakes. As can be expected from a young player who hasn't played regularly. Needs to work on his finishing though.

Really happy for him, I think he needed a goal and hopefully he can relax more. He certainly seemed more confident today. Hopefully he can kick on now and keep Mandzukic/Cuadrado on their toes. He isn't there yet but always good to have competition for places.

Had a mixed game, it seems like he does well when he doesn't need to think but makes bad choices when he has time. He reminds me of Morata a lot in that way. Especially when he had a couple of runs on the break when he held the ball too long instead of passing or shooting. Just needs more...

Tricky game to make his first start. There was very little space on a tight pitch vs 10 defenders A lot of positives, I liked his movement at times then at others he was choosing the wrong places to run. A start in one of the next few home games could do him good.
