Delighted for Chiellini, what a tournament from him. Deserved to win an International trophy in his career

Magnificent player Bossed Lukaku throughout, as did Bonucci surprisingly.

Part from one early incident where he should have been stronger on Zapata, I thought he was excellent.

I think the biggest issue with the penalty incident was Diaz being allowed to run 25 yards straight to our box. Chiellini got the call against him but he was scrambling to block the shot and was hit at point blank range. I'm not sure there is much else he could do with his arm given the body...

In the UK Chiellini is rated highly and certainly regarded by many as one of the best of his generation. I think the game away to Spurs where we were backs to the walls during the second half really stood out for people.

Why wouldn't we renew him? One of our best defenders, a huge personality and his contract runs out in 5 months. No reason to think that we couldn't benefit from having him here next season.

Magnificent The block on Quagliarella's shot was outstanding. The replay after was fitting when it showed Chiellini making the block and Bonucci jogging 5 yards behind the play.

A massive gamble and one we currently don't need to take. I'm a huge Chiellini fan but he has understandably looked a bit rusty. To throw him in to the biggest game of the season is risky.

Great to see him back but I really hope that we don't rush him. It will take weeks to get back to form and we can't risk another injury. I'm worried that Sarri rushes him for the Inter game which would be too soon.

Not a chance Chiellini is saving us this season our problems are far greater and he needs time.
