Have you ever seen him defend? He is very subtle and tactical in his tackling, no worse than Thuram IMO. He's not as good of a tackler as Cannavaro obviously, however everything Fabio lacks Chivu has. The latter also reads the game like no other, so IMO he will become one of the top defenders...

Chivu is going to become one of the top five defenders in the world, I am pretty much sure of it. He has so much techincal ability for a defender it's almost unbelievable. He needs to get out of his Roman disaster and come to Juventus.

Last time I checked Chivu was not playing at the moment. Thought he was still out with injury... :D

That is rubbish if you ask me. Thuram has been a world class defender for years now. Chivu is one of the best young defenders in the world, but he is no Lilian, not yet.

Chivu is world class and it would be a dream to have him in our defense. I still have no clue why he chose Roma a couple years ago when he was through with Ajax....
