Maxwell can play both left-back and left-wing. He's sort of like a more technically sound Serginho, but without some of the flair.

Maxwell has potential, and he is basically a clone of Jankulovski, except that the Brazilian is a bit more creative, while Marek has more of the Nedved mould. It is rather difficult to say which player is better, but IMO Maxwell has more potential than Jankulovski, as the latter is in his prime.
